What is an Early Pregnancy (Viability) Scan?

For a belly scan, drink lots of water before so your bladder is full – this helps get clearer pictures. No prep is needed for an internal scan. Wear comfortable clothes that allow easy access.

During the Procedure:

The sonologist will take measurements and photos for about 5-10 minutes. They are assessing how developed the baby is and checking for any issues.

After the Procedure:

The doctor will go over the results with you and explain what it all means. They’ll also schedule your next appointment to keep an eye on baby’s progress.

Report Availability:

Printed copies of your reports will be ready within 10-15 minutes after the completion of the scan procedure.
