How is it done?
For the ultrasound, your child will lie comfortably on the examination table. The technician will gently move a handheld device over the area being looked at, like a joint or muscle group. This creates live images of the muscles and tissues, usually taking 5-10 minutes, may vary based on the complexity of the findings.

Afterwards: You can leave immediately after the scan with no special restrictions on activities.
Results: The report will be ready 10-15 minutes after the scan. You’ll receive hard copies before you leave.
